ABOUT BROWN COW FARMS
Brown Cow Farms is named after Alesia's beloved red Border Collie, Charlie Brown Cow, who was a rescue. Charlie’s spirit and unwavering loyalty inspired not only the farm’s name but also the deep love for red beef cattle. His memory and the joy he brought to Alesia's life continue to guide all that she does on the farm, from caring for her animals to nurturing the land.
All Alesia's cattle are bred, born and raised right here on the farm, where they are cared for with attention to their health and well-being.
Brown Cow Farms reflects Alesia's passion for preserving farmland and producing premium, local beef. Farming in the Shenandoah Valley, Virginia allows Alesia to combine her love of agriculture with her dedication to sustainability and stewardship.

BROWN COW BEEF
Brown Cow Beef Company, LLC was created out of a passion for raising high-quality, locally sourced beef and a desire to give the community direct access to the source of their food. Every calf is cared for start to finish right here on the farm. The cattle are pasture-raised and grain-finished with corn grown by Alesia's Dad. The beef is also locally processed. As the first Lady farmer in her family to own and operate a farm, Alesia's proud to share her story - and her beef - with friends, families, and neighbors who care about where their beef comes from.
